I have to guess BA2KWS is having trouble scanning for files to backup. I
would check the settings. Use Config->Preferences. Make sure you are not
forcing a scan for drive letters you no long have. This can look link a
lockup but is really just a long timeout.

The number of possibilities is countably infinite. Fortunately an
infinite number of these possibilities have a low probability of
occurring.

The vast majority of computer problems are caused by broken data, not
broken program files. Reinstalling the program files without fixing the
broken date is unlikely to do more than use up some of your available
lifetime.
