OK.  That makes more sense now.  Since dfsee can't install drivers on your 
1.2 CD, it's not unexpected that you still can install using your 1.2 CD.

Oh.  That was not clear.  This is the expected result when trying to boot 
a partially installed hard disk.  You used dfsee to install a boot sector 
and, perhaps bootmanger.  They are working fine, but don't know what to do 
next.
