I have a jfs partition that contains a directory that I cannot
remove or delete any files. There are no attributes set on these
dir's.

I want to delete the files in this directory, and get rid of it
altogether. If I accidently access the folder I pretty much have
to reboot. Even my ba2k won't work here because it scans the
directory before backing up.

I tried FileStar and it pegs the CPU querying the directory even
after leaving it overnight I am still pegged.

The folder is Trash (don't know where I got it from but I do have
VPC on this partition so maybe it somehow came from running
Windows). The longest I have waited to read this directory shows
hundred's of thousands of files, all 512b in size, all with the
same name.

Is there some kind of JFS tool to use? The only tools I have are
for hpfs.

Thanks, Jon
