I don't think the kernel is causing this. IAC, I'm running 100c and don't
see this.
Make sure oso001.msg is in DPATH.
Make sure the version of mode.com you are running makes sense.
There are separate versions of mode.com for the PCI and ISA, although both
work fine with SIO2K:
11-15-00 19:35 64,245 0 MODE.COM
11-15-00 19:35 64,245 0 MODE_OLD.COM
11-02-01 8:09 64,401 0 MODE_PCI.COM
If all else fails, you can back out 100c for testing.
