I don't know if this is the wrong forum for this question, but if it isn't
someone can direct me in the right direction.

Occasionally, when I put a cd to play in the cd rom and go to programs and
them multimedia and finally cd-audio drive s, the player appears in the
window and the play list appears, but then it starts cycling. That is, it
will scroll from track one to the last track, then the page on the player
goes blank, finally the list comes on again and rapidly scrolls to the end
and the blank page appears, and it continues on. I can start track one,
but trying to manually switch to another track can't be done because of
the rapid scrolling of the tracks. Has anyone else noticed this?

I first noticed it with a cd-r I made of a music cd I wanted to play in
the car. Perhaps this behavior was caused by cd-r, so I used a
manufactured, original, bought from the audio shop variety. Same thing.

Any thoughts or direction you can lead me?
