Ray --
You have long advocated that we use the Zip distros of Mozilla, rather
than the installer version, and even posted a capsule update | setup
guide here a while back, as I seem to recall. Well, I finally tried
to install the Zip release of 1.7.3 into eCS 1.1, and I hit a wall.
It was a much earlier problem, and not the sort of "gotcha" I would
have expected at all: the program object on the desktop kept
insisting that it was for a DOS session, and all attempts to change it
to an OS/2 session (although the checkbox *seemed* to accept it) were
rebuffed. Because of this, the program was not runnable. I finally
got rather annoyed with this, scrapped it, installed the Installer
version instead, and that appears to have been successful. I think
I'll stick with the one I know has worked for me.
