Urg. Obviously, I need to work on my vocabulary:

SET AUTOSTART=PROGRAMS,TASKLIST,FOLDERS
becomes
SET AUTOSTART=PROGRAMS,TASKLIST,FOLDERS,WARPCENTER
and reboot.
To prevent eCenter from starting at bootup:
Local System ==> Startup and remove eCenter from the Startup folder.
FYI - IMO, eCenter is much more stable than WarpCenter; consider switching
to eCenter.
Note the correct words above; I am looking at the eCenter icon that I had
moved from my Startup folder!
