J. R.
Thanks for your comments. I'm just trying to be helpful and thorough.

Yes, I use the Mozilla newsgroup search facility. It works real well.

Attached please find a zip file, containing three (3) files as follows:

CD_NO.CFG

CD_NO.CFG_TRY_THIS_FIRST

CD_NO.CFG_TRY_THIS_SECOND

The first one is your CONFIG.SYS that attempts to run RSJ (and does) but bounces out
OS2CDROM.DMD. I think I found some inconsistencies in it, and that may be the
problem. Please note the following:

1. You really did not REM out "BASEDEV=DANIATAP.FLT". It's on line
84 of CD_NO.CFG

2. You REM'ed "BASEDEV=DANIATAP.FLT" on line 210, however????

3. I believe that your RSJ configuration is inconsistent, because you have
"BASEDEV=RSJIDECD.FLT" REM'ed on line 212, but on line 213
"BASEDEV=LOCKCDR.FLT" is not REM'ed

4 Check the spelling of your "DANIATAP.FLT" file on you system. Some
people spell it in 8.3 format by not having the "I" just before the "dot". Some people, like
me, keep the spelling just as Daniela wrote it. Check to make sure the spelling of the file
on your system is identical to what you have in your CD_NO.CFG file.

5. Daniela warns about using another *.FLT driver along with hers. And
that's what you have done by using both DANIATAP.FLT and LOCKCDR.FLT. Is there
some reason why you are still using the LOCKCDR.FLT driver along with Daniela's
*.FLT driver? I use only the DANIATAP.FLT driver and I REM out the RSJIDECD.FLT
and LOCKCDR.FLT drivers.

Try the file, CD_NO.CFG_TRY_THIS_FIRST, as your CONFIG.SYS. It should give you
RSJ without Daniela's back door. It should not bounce OS2CDROM.DMD (of course,
keep a copy of your existing CONFIG.SYS so that you can restore, if anything goes
wrong). If that works, then try CD_NO.CFG_TRY_THIS_SECOND. That should give you
RSJ, no OS2CDROM.DMD bounce and Daniela's back door. NOTE: You need to
place the file, ASPIROUT.SYS, into P:\CDWFS\ in order for this last CONFIG.SYS setup
(Daniela's back door) to work. You can find ASPIROUT.SYS at Hobbes.

Let me know how it goes!
