Just tossing this out there: at the last Pomona show, I saw a product for sale called
DVD-Rescue, from the same company that had put out DVD X-Copy (before it got yanked
off the market). It claims to recover the data from scratched or otherwise messed-up
DVDs, likewise for CDs. Has anyone tried this ? Does it work ? I'm skeptical but
curious.
