And Tom, thanks for originally mentioning UDF. I ran "udf cd format"
through Google and got mixed info.

One link from that search tells me that you cannot read Mac files on a
PC, whether you use CD or Zip or floppy or whatever. I learned there is
a Windows program called MacOpener which allows Win users to open Mac
files, but for OS/2 it appears that the only method is to network a Mac
to the OS/2 machine and transfer the files.

But another link from that search tells me that the purpose of ISO 9660
was so you could create CDs that are compatible on both Mac and PC.

And this page:

says you can burn a "Hybrid" CD on a Mac which can then be read on a
PC. Here's how to burn the CD (I'll ask the studio to try this):
