By now you might have found the filter edit function.  But there   
shouldn't be any real urgency.  When you have Mozilla Mail use the mail   
files from NS it also uses the filters.  I certain this works going from   
NS 4.61 to Moz 1.6 because I just did it on my wife's machine.  
 
I don't recall what happens if you try NS on files that have been used   
by Moz.
