OK -- that made a difference.
The screen opened up. At the top it said:
Job Status Info
At the bottom of the screen it said:
LPR monitor for lpt1, server 192.168.2.1, printer lpt0.
Then it just hung there.
Eventually I did a control-c to get out.
I tried doing it again with iptrace running.
After taking the trace, I ran ipformat, and I got an error message:
Opening iptrace.dmp . . .Successful
Reading packet header . . . Unable to read 1st header.
I am glad to hear you have a life.
When you get a chance, let me know if there is anything I can try next.
Thanks,
Sandy
