OK, thanks very much!!!! That did it. Using echo %CVROOT% on the
commandline yields the following:

:pserver:guest@www.netlabs.org:e:/netlabs.cvs/ddk2

Next, using the following on the commandline, then downloads the files
from ddk2:

cvs checkout .

Next, after that, using "." in the dialog box, that pops up from the
"DDK2 DD Extensions Checkout" icon, now results in cvs checking out the
file status in my working directory, D:\CVS_Download\ddk2. It did not
download anything to that directory, because I just completed the
download, using the commandline (I presume that's the reason why).
Finally, I went back and tried the commandline, again. This time, CVS
checked out the file status in D:\CVS_Download\ddk2 without downloading
anything (just like with the "Checkout" icon).

I presume that, if I now erase all the files in my working directory, I
can use the NOSAC "DDK2 DD Extensions Checkout" icon and it will now
download all the files.

Thanks again.
