I does. JFS will only install on an LVM volume, not a partition.

For eCS/MCP this is generally true. There are excecptions such as if you
are installing Warp4 on a system that already had eCS/MCP installed. For
Warp3/4 FDISK is still the tool to use.

LVM seems to be stable. However, it does have some issues with removable
drives. There are APAR to address this.

What sort of infomation are you looking for? DFSEE does some JFS
reporting and will probably do more in time.
