It's always so late at night when I get to these things that I'm doing
things when I'm not very sharp. But I just installed eCS on a TP760ED
and it completed with no hitches first try (thanks Serenity!). I
installed with Boot Manager even though I intend to install only one
OS. When I power up, I get a message, "Default system vol 1 not found,
hit any key." Hitting any key continues the bootup, the boot manager
screen appears and everything is normal from then on. I know I need to
become better informed about LVM, but is there an obvious thing I need
to do to avoid this minor hitch? Maybe a tutorial on LVM for Dummies
would be a useful meeting topic for others besides me who have trouble
finding time to do a little independent study.
