SCOUG OS/2 For You - February 1999

That's what Webfoot said last month in his column. Was that ever controversial! It generated a lot of email from OS/2 users questioning the accuracy.

So folks, we want to set the record straight. Rather than paraphrase, here's the scoop, quacked by the bird himself:

   Go to http://www.real.com/
   click on "Products"
   then (Players)..
   "Download Now"
   then "RealPlayer G2". This'll land you at:

   In the "1. Choose OS" field, select OS/2, of course.

Now, this'll give you a Win-OS/2 version (that's what RealAudio calls their "OS/2" version), which runs on OS/2 (ain't OS/2 wonderful?).

Heck, nobody complained when I reviewed www.bikini.com last July, so I figured I could get away with just about anything. I'm just a duck...
