There are several reasons I can think of. Most have to do with how I
understand associations to interact with views (and I'm no expert on
this).

Aw gee, what's life without a few features. Hint. Start with
WPS->Selected Object Settings and look at "Miscellaneous Settings" Once
you figure out what to change you can use WPS->Desktop Object Settings to
do the batch update or use a REXX script to do the SysSetObjectData.
