That's better. Lots of Polarbar users seem to have a propensity to send
binary attachements as text files.

I see where your type.exe error comes from. Take a look a line 77 of
config.log. Paul's setup has a rather extensive config.site defined. It
replaces the standard test command with something that requires a
type.exe. I'm not sure where the port comes from. I recommend you ask on
the libc list. It might be something Knut ported.

You can probably remove the test function from config.site. I seem to get
by without it.
