Subject: SCOUG-Help: new video card results in no boot up

Content Type: text/plain

Recently I added a new video card to my old AMD Athlon XP computer. The
new video card, Chaintech GForce FX5200 PCI bus, replaces the built-into
the motherboard video card.
After installing the card, my eCS 2.0 Beta4 would start the boot process
and go to the eCS boot screen and then go grey and hang.
I've tried cntrl-alt-F1 when the little white square in the upper left
hand corner appears and I get the options screen. I've tried all the
options with the same result: the eCS boot screen appears and then
hangs.
Any suggestions as to getting the system to boot without removing the
new video card?

Thanks for your help,

Butch
