I see what you mean. I've only seen this kind of thing on other OSs. If
you still have the bad cable and want to play, run ipformat while the dhcp
client is trying to get a lease. Rem out the dhcpstrt command in
setup.cmd and run iptrace and dhcpstrt from the command line.
