The problem is either the diskette or the drive. When was the last time
you cleaned the drive? You can test the diskette by formatting it. If
the diskette is physically bad the format will often find the bad sectors
and mark them unusable. Of course, this will lose your dump data, but
it's unlikely you can recover it unless you know how to use the Gammatech
or Norton tools.
