Colin, Martin, Ray --

Perhaps it is a matter of the driver Rev. I just used
this line (with "/REMOVABLES:3" -- and, btw, they have
mispelled Removeables, but no matter). It made
absolutely no difference in my USB behavior under eCS
1.1 or 1.2GA. The memory sticks are still seen after
two Refreshes, but *no* Drive Detected Alert; the USB
HDD gets 2 icons after a couple Removeable Media
refreshes (this ext. HDD has 3 partitions on it), but
they access nothing and are quite useless. The USB
Resource Monitor misidentifies the drive, which is no
great surprise.

My thought is that the results _should be_ different
when I reconnect the boot drive that has the 1.2R and
the 2.0b installs, because of later driver Rev.s.
Will let you know.

Anyway, good to hear that Jerry's (old) USB
observations are now out of date, which I hoped they
would be.

Jordan
