Zdenek,
I'm sorry that you are having so much problems. I have been monitoring your E-Mails
and it is apparent (to me) that you have not been PRECISELY following the steps
outlined. Perhaps too many people have been given advice. Perhaps you are simply
confused. Perhaps both.

Please. Follow these instructions (PRECISELY) and I think that will do it for you.

	1.	Make sure your BIOS recognizes your SATA drive
	2.	Download the latest Dani drivers, version 1.7.5
	3.	Place the Dani drivers on a "ECS CD-ROM Boot Update Diskette",
using the information in your ECS 1.2 booklet, or the online help on the CD, to tell you
how to do that
	4.	Load DFSee from a CD. Use it to eliminate the Windows partition on
your SATA drive. Make it all free space
	5.	Boot to your ECS installation CD. Follow the instructions to have it use
the Dani drivers on your diskette, instead of the drivers on the CD. You may have to
copy down some instructions from the booklet or online help here. I cannot tell you
preciselly how to do it.
	6.	After the installation CD starts using the diskette drivers, then you will
be able to use LVM. That is, now the installation program will "see" your SATA drive as
an available drive for placing/installing ECS 1.2

	7.	Use LVM to partition your SATA drive as you desire for your new ECS
1.2 installation.

The reason for the above ordered steps is as follows:
	A.	You cannot use your SATA drive unless your motherboard (BIOS)
recognizes that you have it
	B.	You cannot use your SATA drive in the ECS installation, unless ECS
recognizes that you have that drive
	C.	ECS will not recognize that drive, unless you use the latest Dani drivers
	D.	Even when ECS recognizes the SATA drive, you will not be able to use
LVM (on the installation CD), unless you first get rid of the Windows partition on it and
make it all free space. LVM obviously lacks some capability with it comes to handling
drives with Windows on it.
	E.	DFSee is the only software (to my knowledge), that will fix your SATA
drive and delete the Windows partition and designate your entire SATA drive as free
space. That's why you have to use it on a CD, before you start your ECS 1.2 installation.

I hope all of the above is clear.
Good luck!
HCM
