Unless it is one of those times they altered the
schedule, it should be the 1st. Sun. in Nov., about 2
p.m. At the moment, it looks like I'll be in town
then, and since I could not get to the last 2 or 3
sessions, I'd like to get to this one.

I didn't realize this was an External Only HDD, as
opposed to the type I typically use that are
"home-made" externals. If it's not an expensive
drive, or one that's likely to need warranty service,
you might choose to roll the dice on this.

I'm still puzzling over what Ray said about USB being
native to DOS. Huh ? Jan had to add some
hard-to-find DOS drivers to 7.xx DFSEE, in order to
make that work. In theory, this should make
procedures like the one you want to perform possible
over the USB connection, but, even if possible, I
don't know that that's a preferred circumstance.
