Well, that's certainly interesting. My recollection
is that I have a FAT-32 partition of at least 60G . .
. but it's on an external drive used only for backup
/ storage, and only used by W2K. It's been about a
month since I last accessed it, and I'll try to do so
again in the near future, to make sure that isn't
actually an NTFS partition. There is also an external
120G. drive I should probably check. *If* my initial
recall turns out to be correct, how would you explain
this ? Neither drive gets anything approaching heavy
use, but their history is long enough that if some
partitioning violation was going to make them blow up,
they surely would have done so by now.
Unless I'm starting to lose it even worse than Peter,
I also distinctly recall Tony making reference to his
use of larger FAT-32 partitions. If he's there on
Sat., we can ask him.
