Subject: SCOUG-Help: net use problems

I am having problems getting "net use" to work on one of my wireless
connections. On the other wireless connection it works but the messages
indicate it did not. It works on the wired LAN without problems. Only one of
the LAN adapters is ever active (has an IP address) at a time. When testing
the wireless I unplug the wired LAN and select the wireless I want to use with
XWLAN.

After any of the LAN connections has an IP using DHCP I issue a "net use"
command.

Using the wired LAN no problems and I get a list of the connections started.

Using the PC card wireless I get the following message

"There are no entries in the list"

but if I go to "sharing and connections" it shows that the connections were
made so I have a shared file and a remote printer (Why is it connecting if
there are no entries in the list?).

Using the internal wireless I get the same message

"There are no entries in the list"

followed about 20 seconds later with a pop-up with the message (Why is it
trying to connect if there are no entries in the list?).

"One or more of your connection failed"

when I go to "sharing and connections" it shows that the connections are
inactive. Clicking the re-connect button I get the message "SYS0053: The
network path was not found".

What I suspect is that the MPTS configuration is not quite correct. Here is
what MPTS shows.

IBM Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (OS/2)......
0-IBM TCP/IP
1-IBM OS/2 NETBIOS
Generic PRISM driver for PCMCIA/PLX Cards......
2-IBM OS/2 NETBIOS
1-IBM TCP/IP
GenMac Wrapper Intel 2100 Wlan[8086:1043]......
0-IBM OS/2 NETBOIS
2-IBM TCP/IP

What numbers should be assigned to these protocols?
