This sounds like a holdover from the Windoze world,
where installing almost anything in a particular
category brings up the question "Do you want to make
(our) XYZ app. the default ____ whatever ?" I believe
I've seen that during Moz for OS/2 installs, so I
guess it could be considered a form of cultural
polution. Anyway, if one wants to preserve maxiumum
flexibility, the best answer to that question is
always "No."
