We are probably exeriencing some of what you did, concerning
getting rid of Symantec. So far we haven't been able to. The
virus damaged or destroyed something called the "Windows
Installer Service" which we need in order to uninstall the
Syamantec products. Im learning more about Windoze than I ever
wanted to.

It certainly is! Last night I downloaded a virus removal tool
from the McAfee web site called "Stinger" from my eCS partition,
and dragged it over to my shared partition. I was able to run it
from W2k "safe mode" (what an ironic name!). McAfee's Stinger
then found 2 more trojans which Symantec missed. The next step I
think will be to use eCS to create another partition. This
partition will hold copies of the Windows 2000 CD, and Service
Pack 4. Do you know if I can format FAT32 from eCS? I intend to
reinstall W2k because the current copy I consider to be corrupt.
