As I mentioned earlier, it is going to be one  
web-based email gateway service or another, while I am  
away from home.  Since I don't presently own a laptop,  
the point of access in that case is always going to be  
someone else's briefly borrowed laptop or desktop  
system, which by definition is pretty much guaranteed  
to be a Windoze system.  I seldom know in advance what  
is going to be on those, or how any software involved  
happens to be configured.  So, whatever I find is what  
I get.  I'm just grateful when it is available, and  
glad to find that it works.  As to the features of the  
web-based email services, your guess is probably  
better than mine.
