Subject: SCOUG-Help: Firefox

I have been using Mozilla and tried Firefox several months ago and had problems
so just dropped it. I thought it might be time to try again.

I just downloaded Firefox (and a new version of libc05.dll) and am now trying
to run it.

I have

set moz_plugin_path=f:\mozilla\plugins
set mozilla_home=f:\mozilla

in my config.sys.

After I start Firefox it has my bookmark file and has my home page showing on
the status line like it is trying to connect. Starting an IPTRACE before I
start Firefox the only thing sent out is a message to 156.63.20.95:80
(which is repeated after a time out until I stop the connection). This IP
seems to be nonexistent although it is in registered space for the State of
Ohio Network. What I expected was a DNS lookup for my home page but it never
happened.

Anyone have any ideas?
