I just got a message from Frank on an eCS newsgroup that said he could never
get NETBEUI to work on two different NICs. He did get TCPBEUI to work on two
NICs so he now runs with TCP, NETBEUI, and TCPBEUI on one NIC and TCP and
TCPBEUI on the other NIC. He also told me the name of the program that would
fix the IBMLAN.INI, it is PROTOCHECK.CMD. I ran it and it fixed the IBMLAN.INI
basically the way I was going to try it. He also said that the NIC needed an
IP before TCPBEUI could be bound to the NIC. The way he did it was to give it
a dummy IP that would be changed later to a real IP by DHCP.
I am about to try this now. I am hoping I will not be offline too long trying
to get this working.
