That's the version that shipped with the media refresh, so that's probably
the most recent. eCSMT will tell you if any of your drivers need to be
updated.

If you are just testing, you might want to try writing to the USB
connected drive with dfsee. Sometimes you need to wipe the first track of
a drive before it will partition correctly. Especially if Windows has had
its way with the content.

If dfsee can not write to the drive via the USB adapter, there may be a
driver problem.
