For larger scale jobs, I'd have to say *extra Hard
Drives*, used either for whole drive cloning or for
storing partition images of the boot and important
data partitions of your service drive. I've bought
good 120G and 160G drives for as little as $50. after
the rebates. IMO, that can be considered "reasonably
priced," especially in view of what you are getting
for your money. There's no backup like a nearly
up-to-date replacement drive you can just plug in and
drive off down the computer highway.
