I downloaded, installed and just now tried it out.  It looks like a   
really great program--miles ahead of its PostRoad Mailer antecedent  
that I tried earlier.  I saw a lot that I liked about it in this  
short  trial; but it too doesn't seem to "authenticate" outgoing  
e-mails.  
 
Since the latest version is over a year old, I expect there's little   
chance of an "authentication" capability being added to it.  That's   
sad, because I really would like to use it.  It seems to have a lot   
of features that I've been wanting.
