My goodness. Doom and gloom :-) Yes, things can go wrong. I have even bought
stuff from stores that didn't work right. I think that by now everyone knows
about how to deal with ebay, and what the consequences might be. If one has an
older printer that they like, and want to replace it, such places are the
only option.

If the cartridge includes the printhead, it is not designed to be refilled,
and doing so here, has proven to be a major joke, each time I have tried it.
Many probably have success, but I would rather take a chance on an ebay
purchase than try to refill lexmark or HP print cartridges

I am not up to speed at all with what is new, but I would be shocked beyond
repair if I could walk into Best Buy and grab the newest Canon or HP and find
OS/2 drivers for it. I would hope so, but cynicism still exists.
