Harry,
I think you are confusing two products. eStylerLite is the "lite" version of
Styler/2 (aka Smart Windows, many years ago). eWorkplace (or whatever it is
called) is the "lite" version of xWorkplace. In any event, I have upgraded to
both of the "full" versions.

eStylerLite: Its been a while, but I think what I did was to deactivate
eStylerLite (it is one of the configuration options), do a shutdown/restart,
and install Styler/2. I'm running Ver. 1.7.0.0.

xWorkplace: I followed the instructions in the xWorkplace readme, which read:

I elected to use the second alternative. FWIW, the DEINST command does a very
thorough scrub of WPS objects and classes which eWP modified upon installation,
but it doesn't destroy any of the program elements. Thus, it should be
possible -- with a little finesse -- to "reinstall" it, should the need or
desire ever arise. I'm currently running Ver. 1.0.2 of xWorkplace.

My preference is for the "full" versions of both of these enhancers, and I'm
quite happy with my "upgrade" effort.
