Boy This feels like I've been running the Boston Marathon, UP
"HeartBreak Hill." I can see over the top of the hill, but have another
10 yards to go before it is all down hill.

     There are 2(?) variables involved.

Yesterday I just got a, new to me, used Plextor
Plexwriter PX-W1210S. So one of the things I am attempting
to do is prove the drive to be functional.

On another list, a wicked person told me that I needed to "blank" a
CDR\W" disk before I could use it. That was all he said. Not helpful.

Sooo, my 3 or 4 attempts at burning a CDR\W have all failed. I don't
know if it is because I have not "" blanked "" the media; OR because my
ISO file is TOO large??? The CDR\W media claims to be capable of holding
700MB's.

OH, very important piece of info.

I sacrificed a new blank CDR and successfully burned the DFSEE iso
file to it in the CDR\W drive. I could go to the command line and see all
the files. Re-booting the computer
booted from the CD to DFSEE as it should.

     Thanks again.
