Well, you can watch for another 5700 or Z51 on ebay. Beyond that, I would not  
buy any inkjet printer that did not allow me to refill canisters of individual  
ink, that do not have the print head attached to them. My Z51 has almost  
bankrupted me. Prints fantastic, but cartridges are too costly, and refill  
don't work.  
 
I have no answer to the question :) but I am told some Canon inkjets fill the  
prescription. Be interested in what others have to  offer, and who is using  
what, so those who have an inkjet they like, I hope you will drop us all a  
recommendation.
