As you suggested, I disabled the >64mb memory for os/2 feature of the
bios; itstill saw only 256k of ram. Ran patchldr with same result;
program said no patch was necessary. Checked pc specs. They called for
256k of ram. So I have 256k of ram and not 512 k as I thought.

Is the amount of ram related to the uncommitted memory traps that I have
experienced?
