Sandy,

My ntfs.ifs is also 196,054 1/15/04. But located in X:\ecs\boot rather
than your X:\os2 for warp 4 or eCS 1.2. After reviewing your config.sys
from Warp 4 and eCS 1.2, did you do a clean eCS 1.2 install or a
migration? For comparison is my clean eCS 1.2 install's config.sys with
the ntfs.ifs loaded.

Unfortunately the above ntfs.ifs driver is read-only so I can not create a
ntfs partition with a stock eCS 1.2 system nor with dfsee 6.xx - please
correct me if I am wrong.

What I am going to do is clone a ntfs partition from a windows box and
copy that clone to this eCS 1.2 system to see if I have the same error
problem you first described when I have a little bit more time.
