I will, but that's not what you need to know.

Yes, but ethernet is only a transport protocol. You need an upper layer
protocol that know how to talk to the print server.
You need to figure out if the print server support LPR or SMB style
printing. This determines how you control if from your systems.
FWIW, if this a a standard JetDirect server, there is OS/2 compatible
JetDirect software to control the server using the JetDirect native
protocol.
The base software is on the Application Sampler CD, IIRC. There are
updates out on the net.
