I've tried that, but with limited success I think. Although the
number I enter seems to stick, I suspect I actually GET whatever
is closest to my choice, not the choice itself, at least for
bitmapped fonts. I suspect scalable fonts may work as requested.
For years I've been using bitmapped fonts for the desktop because
I read/heard somewhere back in the dark ages that they're faster.
That consideration is pretty much a moot point today. but I've
grown "accustomed the face". Sorry for the pun....
Mebbe I'll change things around when I finally do get eCs 1.2 installed.
And where _ARE_ those disks?
