Yes, thank you. Thank you everyone for your answers.
I have to change my present switch, because I now need a DVI connection to the
monitor. I've done a lot of online research and there appear to be only 3 or 4
companies that make such switches. And they are expensive. After much hand wringing
I decided to go with a Startech StarView 2-Port KVM switch. I hate to buy something like
that, however, and not know for sure whether or not it will fully work. However, the
information on the website said that the switch is independent of OS! OK! Good! I'll return
it for a full refund, if it is not.
