Just RMB-Drag the Printer template to the Desktop and give the new object
a more useful name.

I vote for a wrong printer driver selection.

You appear to have one or more not quite shredded printer objects. Use
prndrv.exe to clean them up. They may or may not be part of your problem.
If you don't already have a copy , do a Google for:
prndrv.zip os/2
The CDS site that was the original home for this app is gone.
