I prefer FC/2 for it's Zip handling and search function.  Also being   
text based I think it is more efficient to use.  However, that may also   
account for it's weak link to the clipboard.  
 
For cut-and-paste I use EF Commander.  
 
For moving tens of gigs of stuff between partitions, especially over the   
net,  I like Larson Commander for it's prechecking and statistics.
