My zip file contains a NewView.hlp file dated 4-10-04 which is installed
to \OS2\HELP\. See if you have this file.
Are you _sure_ you're using 2.14.37? The NewView Changes.txt file says:
V2.14.37
- Fixed problems with own help file.

I don't have a NewView.inf file and NewView runs fine here.

Are you doing a manual install? I started using the NewView installer a
couple of releases ago and it seems to work fine -- it replaces OS/2's
default VIEW with NewView.
