Sorry for the late reply (been extremely busy) but I can verify, with
certainty, that the DFE-530TX+ (not to be confused with the DFE-530TX, a
completely different card) is based on the RTL chipset. It's the card as part
of my standard configuration. Do not be fooled by the private label (something
like DL10010C). They're just relabeling the RTL-8139. You can feel safe and
take advantage of my research - it's the same chip. The DLinks are reliable and
can be found cheap, often with rebates.
