Sarcasm doesn't change the facts.
Simply because the hospital considers itself an arm of the federal government
and the socialist security system does not in any way, shape or form, prove that
a SS# is required of every citizen.
I have yet to see the law or the federal code that mandates social security
numbers, but I am familiar with the ones that explain how to protect your rights
NOT to have a number, when it comes to discrimination by banks, employers, and
other entities. Odd that there would be federal laws protecting your choice not
to have the number, if the number really was a federal requirement.
