More accurately, most boot managers can boot most current OSs from
anywhere on the drive. It is a mistake to assume the behavior of the
Warp4 boot code chain to is similar to anything other than a small
percentage of systems built in the last 5 years or so. eCS and MCP can
boot from wherever the BIOS will support unless there is some sort of BIOS
defect that BM can't handle.
