If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.

Jerry just sent me an e-mail from the Innotek forums saying that I
should edit the registry with REGEDIT2 and insert the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\InnoTek\INNOWIN\REGROOT_HKEY_LocalMachine\System\CustomBuild
Create a DWORD key DisableAudio set to 1.
The reason is that the ThinkPad T20 uses some sort of Crystal
Semiconductor audio chipset, which the person who reported the Trap 0008
to InnoTek also has (I'm not sure exactly which Crystal CS42xx chipset I
have, nor did the person on the InnoTek forum say which one he has).
Once I edited the registry and rebooted, the latest InnoTek Runtime for
OS/2 installed cleanly on my ThinkPad.
Sandy Shapiro: did the machine(s) you got a Trap 0008 on happen to have
a Crystal Semiconductor audio chipset?
